AUT WEB CENTRE

AUT University's Web Centre was established in 2000 and is part of the Information Technology Services directorate

AUT's Web Centre oversees all matters related to the University's websites, from strategic development to project and content management. AUT operates a moderated web and all sites must undergo the approved Web Centre process before they are published.

Our site philosophy is to focus on the user, build engagement and use the medium as a powerful two-way communication tool and information resource.

Acknowledging that some of the best ideas for future development come from our site users, we actively encourage positive and creative suggestions as to how we might develop or improve your site.

AUT's second new site was launched at the end of January 2005 and uses a new content management system.

Since the year 2000 AUT web has established itself as one of the Top 5 New Zealand Education sites and has won consecutive category share awards (Hitwise)
