A culture of research, and scholarship flourishes in the School and our teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced nurses who are respected for their teaching and research skills, clinical expertise and academic experience.

Excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary learning are available from other health disciplines in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences eg. Physiotherapy ,Occupational Therapy, Paramedic and Emergency Management.

Academic staff work closely with students, providing an interactive learning environment with the emphasis on integration of research theory and nursing practice.

The education we provide encourages and supports students to achieve their goals and to become effective members of the health care team.

Extensive clinical learning in a variety of health care settings available through our close links with health care providers means that course work and research is relevant to professional practice.
