Māori Advancement Advisory Committee (MAAC)
The University’s management structures reflect its commitment to The Treaty of Waitangi and Māori Advancement. As well as the Pro Vice Chancellor Māori Advancement, the establishment of the Māori Advancement Advisory Committee (MAAC) ensures that staff and students from across the University are able to actively contribute to enhancing AUT’s commitment to The Treaty of Waitangi and Māori Advancement.

| The Māori Advancement Advisory Committee (MAAC) advises the Pro Vice Chancellor Māori Advancement and assists the University to further its strategic objectives for Māori Advancement and related achievement. It has representation from senior academic and management staff and Māori students, for all Faculties and relevant allied divisions. |
