The Office of Alumni Relations welcomes back graduates of AUT and its predecessor institutions and welcomes new friends of AUT University.

AUT is more than just the buildings on the campus sites, it is a place where relationships are discovered, strengthened, and transformed. As alumni and friends of AUT you are part of our heritage, you are part of this University and we value highly this relationship with alumni & friends. We hope you will use the alumni web pages to keep in touch with news and developments at the University and with other alumni.

As a graduate you are automatically part of the AUT Alumni Network which enables you to take advantage of a range of benefits and you will also be invited to events that are in your location.

We would be delighted if you keep us informed whenever you change your address, change your job or reach a milestone in your life. If you prefer to contact us directly rather than via a web based form, please link to the contact details page.

AUT Roll Of Honour

AUT University Library has digitised the AUT Roll of Honour [PDF: 9.89MB], a unique item which is of great value to AUT and to New Zealand in general. This beautiful memorial work, which was created by Peter Gilderdale who is the Head of the Graphic Design Department at AUT, is an appropriate way of honouring those whose names originally appeared on the Seddon Technical College Honours Boards.

Peter points out that nobody “knew the criterion for inclusion on the boards – whether it represented alumni who served in the wars or who died. My impression, after working on it, was that it was for men who either died or were awarded high honours, however I hope that wider digital distribution of the book means that someone sees this who can definitively answer the question.”
